Command & Conquer 3 Review

Welcome back Commander,
Coming from a long line of successful games, the team from Westwood Studios once again takes us to the edge of planetary destruction. Old fans will find the familiar opposition of GDI vs. NOD. However, they will also find completely revamped infantry and vehicle lineups. New visual effects and an alien invasion take this game to the top of its genre once again positioning Westwood in its prominent place at the head of RTS development.
All the nations that fought in the Generals campaigns have been brought together under the single flag of GDI for this confrontation. NOD has remained strong and unique and continues to find new applications for its technological advances. Even the Scrin show up just to keep things interesting.
Plenty of tanks, bikes, buggies, and booms to keep even the most aggressive commander on the edge of your seat. The story line continues in true cheesy B-movie fashion, at least script-wise. A Cylon and the commander of Seaquest make appearances and completely destroy the ultra-cheese humor of the FMV sequences with their professional and dramatic acting. You can't help but take them seriously as the feel that this might actually be happening creeps its way into your imagination.
Overall a great addition to the C&C brand! It keeps the old faith while exploding the new.
