David Alvarez here, your man for the Weekly Buzz. You may have seen the past articles I i've done in The War Canoe. To everyone that reads my column, I hope you enjoy it; I do it in the hopes you get the slighest laugh and keep reading this fine newspaper. This week, in the print edition, and online, there is an imposter running around pretending to be me! In this week's issue, the Weekly Buzz was credited to me...only problem is I did not write it. I write this now in the hopes that readers will see there was a mix up. Someone submitted their own Weekly Buzz, makining it appear as though I had written it. Now whether they wanted to just try to write their own, or possibly trying to take my job [ed. comment from the editor: going to have to try hard to that one], or if they just felt like submitting what they thought should be on the Weekly Buzz. In any case, I will continue to write the Weekly Buzz and try to entertain you guys and show what this newspaper is all about. To the mystery person who wrote my column last week, your weekly picks sucked... But, if anyone has suggestions on what they would like to see on the Weekly Buzz, not including the imposter, email me. Until next week: "Like a fat kid playing dodge ball...I'm out."
