Egg Nog

Fresh Eggs: 8
Sugar (divided into 2 parts):
1 cup White Rum:
1 Cup Whole Milk:
3 CupsWhiskey:
3 CupsHeavy Whipping Cream (divided in 2 parts)
2 CupsGround Nutmeg: Enough to sprinkle on each serving

Separate eggs into yolks and whites in separate bowls.  Mix the whites with a stirrer.Beat egg-yolks in a bowl with half of sugar and put the bowl aside.Beat egg-whites.  Once they are stiff mix in other 1/2 of the sugar. Pour the yolks into the whites and mix together slowly. Stir in white rum.Stir in milk. Stir in whiskey. Stir in 1/2 of cream.Whip the last half the of cream and fold in.  Serve at room temperature by ladling the eggnog into cups and sprinkle nutmeg on the top.



Christmas Style Martini

3.0 oz Gin
1.0 tsp Peppermint Schnapps
0.5 oz Dry Vermouth

Mix it all together in a shaker with ice.  Pour into chilled coctail glasses and serve dry.  Garnish with a candy cane if you want to get creative.
